Stop 1: Corfos village

Corfos is a village of 338 permanent residents at the Saronic Gulf. Although it is a wonderful place for vacation, the most visitors of Corinth region ignore the existence of this wonderful seaside resort, that makes you feel like you are on a island. Green slopes meet the sandy beach, creating an magical image. Due to the fact that few tourists have discovered it, makes it the perfect place for peaceful holidays.

Corfos is a protected from the winds place, so the most of the time the sea is calm. The coast is sallow so kids can swim safely, and the parents will be stressless.

There are many airbnb apartments and hotels to stay. If you just want to visit it for a day trip, there are many cafes and restaurant by the side of the sea to pass your time pleasantly.

Stop 2: Ancient Epidaurus

If you are a fan of the Ancient Greece this stop is for you. In Epidaurus the greatest theatre of Ancient Greece.  It is considered to be the most perfect ancient Greek theatre with regard to acoustics and aesthetics. Because of its exceptional architecture and aesthetics, the theatre was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988.

Numerous plays are taking place here every summer by the most talented actors of the Country. Tragedies and Comedies are translating on video walls, so the foreign viewers can be a part of this unique experience.

Most of the travelers end their visit at Ancient Epidaurus here. Although, theatre is only a small part of the archaeological site of Asklepieion. Visiting the sanctuary of Asclepius, god of medicine is a must. It is believed that the medical science started here. Katagogio was a 5-star hotel for patients and their escorts with 160 apartments. You can see the ruins of Restaurant, Bath with the ancient bath basins, and Tholos , the worship place of Asclepius which is the most circular building of the anticity. Stadium and Avaton should be seen too. Last but not least, you should probably visit the small museum of the area.

Stop 3:Poros island

Poros consists of two islands, Sphaeria and Calauria and it has been inhabited about 1100BC. It is a wonderful island 2 hours far from Corinth by car and then you can easily reach it by boat in 10 minutes with a very low cost.

The architecture here is the typical neoclassic of all the islands of the Saronic Gulf, embellished with marvelous Bougainvillea plants. Most of the beaches of Poros are sandy full of pine trees thus the rich vegetation of the island. Some of the seasides you should visit are:

  1. Love bay beach, which is the most beautiful of all on the island! It is organized and the most of the time fully crowded.
  2. Askeli beach is the longest beach of the island. Two of the largest hotels are located here. There are many activities you can do here as beach volley and watersports.
  3. Kanali beach is where Sphaeria and Calauria are met. This beach is located near to the Poros port, with two beach bars where you can have coffee or even food.
  4. Russian Bay Beach which combines a lovely beach
